There are three types of mobility scooter to choose from, each with their own features and benefits. Travel mobility scooters are lightweight, compact scooters that can be dismantled for ease of storage and transportation.
Pavement mobility scooters are great for short trips out, whether you're going shopping or visiting friends.
6-8 MPH scooters are sturdy, road-worthy scooters. Fitted with a large, more powerful battery, this type of scooter is great for longer distances or journeys on-road.
There are two main types of wheelchair available - transit and self-propelled wheelchairs. Transit wheelchairs have been designed to transport users over short distances. Self-propelled wheelchairs are operated by the user.
There are two main types of powerchairs available to you: user-controlled or attendant-controlled. User-controlled powerchairs are operated by the user. Attendant-controlled powerchairs are ideal for anyone who requires help from a carer. With the controls fitted onto the back of the powerchair, the passenger can relax as the attendant takes over.
